Booth / Badge Scanning Software
Attending a trade show this January, and one of the things on their website is for booth lead generation software. They (Maritz) sells and/or rents. They have a bunch of options / price points (outlined below).
Basically, what it is: when someone comes into your booth you can scan their trade show badge and capture their contact information so you can contact them later to try to make a sale or follow-up pitch. They have an app for your phone (3 phones for the app), a handheld scanner you can rent, a tablet scanner you can rent, or a 3rd party kit if you use CRM software (Customer relationship management (CRM) is a technology for managing all your company’s relationships and interactions with customers and potential customers.).
We may explore additional routes to capturing tradeshow visitors. The baked in solutions from the Exhibit, seem pretty pricey for a start-up company. I’m curious what the final tab will come in for the price of exhibiting at an Expo. Previously I have designed banners, table throws, booths, ect… but this experience will be a more in-depth look behind running one of these shows.
